The Daikin Altherma range of monoblock heat pumps come in a range of sizes from 5kw output up to 16kw size. A monoblock air to water heat pump has the secondary heat exchanger where the water is heated physical built into the outdoor unit and hence these types of air to water heat pumps are more popular as they are effectively self-contained. The Daikin Altherma heat pumps can be partnered with different types of DHW( domestic hot water) tanks to provide typically underfloor space heating and hot water for bathing.
