The Daikin EDLA04EV3 model Altherma air to water heat pump with pre-plumbed hot water cylinder. Daikin have introduced this new range of lower capacity heat pumps the models being rated at 4kw, 6kw and 8kw this model being the 4kw model.
Designed for new build small properties with high energy efficiencies these heat pumps typically provide heated water to under floor heating circuits coupled to a high efficiency domestic hot water tank. This range of heat pumps can produce water output at 60 °c, down to an outside air temperature of -7 °c making them ideal for installation in the UK.
Included in this package is Daikin’s own pre-plumbed easy fit hot water cylinder available in various sizes, These easy fit DHW cylinders are designed to be fitted with Daikin’s range of monoblock heat pumps, with all valves etc pre-installed to ensure fast installation.
There is also an option for a back up heater that can be installed in conjunction with the heat pump this operates only in extreme low temperature conditions to ensure the heat pump heating output is maintained.
