Terms & Conditions General
1. All goods remain the property of Saturn Sales Ltd until payment has been received in full.
2. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason.
3. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any
disputes will be decided only by the courts of England and Wales.
Payment
4. Payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards using the
internationally recognised and supported 'Sagepay' secure payment
system. Payment will be debited from your account when you order, i.e.
before the dispatch of your purchase. We will take all reasonable care,
in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of
your order secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we
cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party
procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or
ordering from our site.
Product listing
5. All prices products and specifications are subject to change without
notice. Reasonable efforts have been made to compile the product
listing as completely and accurately as possible, but there may be
typographical mistakes or errors in content. The company does not
guarantee the accuracy of the information contained on this website.
System/s Installation - Certificate of Conformance
6. It is a legal requirement of the Article 11 (5) EC/517/2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases and The Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations (2015) that the installation on non-hermetically sealed systems be undertaken by an F-Gas registered person, and we require a ‘Certificate of Conformance’ to be completed and returned to ourselves (by scanned attachment to an email, or by post) prior to shipment of any air conditioning/heating systems that are non-hermetically sealed.
Warranty for Internet Shop Bought Goods
7. Fixed air conditioning and heat pump systems purchased via our internet shop have a 3-year parts-only warranty. The Certificate of Conformance completed at the time of the purchase of the air conditioning/heating system/s validates your 3 year parts warranty. With regard to any faulty part/s diagnosed by the customer's installer, we will require written confirmation of the fault and details of the new part/s required, including the model number and serial number of the unit. The replacement part/s will then need to be paid for by the customer. Upon receipt of payment we will then ship the new part/s to the customer. Upon fitment of the new part/s we require a commissioning document from the customer's installer and the faulty part/s returning to us. We will pay the shipping costs for returned part/s. We will then raise a warranty claim with the manufacturer for the replacement cost of the part/s. If this warranty claim is successful with the manufacturer, we will then refund the cost of the part/s to the customer. The invoice provided at purchase acts as the guarantee and should be kept in a safe place.
Non-air conditioning / heat pump products purchased via our internet sites will receive either a one or two year warranty dependent upon the product. The warranty duration will be clearly stated on the internet shop product page for the relevant goods.
8. On all supplied-only systems the guarantee will be void if the
customer has incorrectly installed the supplied goods. Saturn Sales Ltd
cannot be held responsible if the failure of the parts is caused by
electrical supply, outside forces, storms, floods, power failure or
fire/smoke damage.
Warranty for systems installed by Saturn Sales Ltd or our appointed installers
9. Air conditioning and heat pump systems installed by Saturn Sales Limited or our appointed installers receive a three year parts and labour warranty from the date of the installation completion certificate being signed and dated. This guarantee is conditional on the installed system (s) being serviced at least every 12 months from the installation date. The present charge for this service is £65 + vat @20% per indoor unit. If the customer fails to have the installed system (s) serviced by Saturn Sales Limited or our appointed installers, the warranty will be voided.
Refunds - Returns Policy
10. We hope that you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase of goods from our internet site. However if, within 14 days of receipt of your online sales order, you are not satisfied or wish to return your goods, please contact us immediately to arrange the return of the goods, as per the procedure listed in paragraph 11 below. For goods ordered and paid for via a proforma invoice, or for customers having credit terms with us, our returns policy will also be covered by the "Consumer Rights Act 2015".
11. Goods will need to be returned back to our distribution centre - please email us at: info@saturnsales.co.uk, or call us on 0161 477 8080 for the return address before you send anything back. All returned goods must be in "as-new" condition, with complete and undamaged packaging. Refunds for returned goods will be made at the price at which the goods were purchased. Return purchases will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange return shipping of the goods and pay the return shipping charges.
12. If the goods have been used, or the packaging is incomplete or damaged, a partial refund will only be issued, with an amount to be deducted to reflect the diminished value of the goods.
Privacy Policy
13. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the
information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the
Data Protection Act).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process
your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
* your name
* your address
* your telephone number/s
* your email address
* your credit/debit card details - these details are not retained.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
Back Orders
14. If your item is not in stock, it will be back-ordered for you. You
will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you
would rather not wait.
VAT
15. For all supply-only customers in the UK, VAT is charged at 20.0%.
Documentation is enclosed with the goods to confirm that VAT has been
charged. Goods can be supplied to European business customers with no
VAT being applied. In these cases the customer will be required to
provide us with their Country/EU VAT number in order for VAT not to be
applied.
Delivery Schedule
16. For deliveries to a UK address, dispatch time is between 1-5
working days. This includes England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and
Wales. Deliveries to customers in Europe will take between 4-10 working
days depending upon the delivery location.
Monies Payable
17. For air conditioning and heat pump installations we will require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total
invoice, to be paid upon confirmation of the order and signing of the contract of works. The balance of monies will be payable after final
commissioning and handover to the customer with the signed completion certificate. The balance of monies shall be payable within 14 days of the completion certificate date.
Title and ownership of goods
18. Saturn Sales Limited will continue to own all goods supplied until full payment is received for the goods and any transportation costs associated with the delivery of the goods. In default the Company may enter your premises and repossess the goods.
